Diana Duke is one of the AmeriCorps Housing Navigators at USARA and a person in long term recovery. She is a mother of four children, who are the loves of her life! Her recovery journey began in 2016 when she found herself newly widowed and broken into a million pieces. Diana went into residential treatment and has done everything in her power to move forward and never look back. Diana has found joy in serving others. She has dedicated her spare time to help others in recovery. She has served in various roles as secretary, “Unite Us” Coordinator, and Social Media Director for the past 3 1/2 years for a non-profit organization for mothers. Diana has goals of becoming a Certified Peer Recovery Coach and hopes to one day become an advocate for family support.

Diana loves that she has taken the time to get to know herself and from that, has so many things she loves to do. This includes being outside, working out, and hiking. She also enjoys crafting and is usually busy making shirts, hoodies, jewelry, cards, or scrapbooking. She’s busy doing that when she isn’t driving one of her four children to one or more of their activities. She loves anything with glitter or sparkles. She also has a great love for music and Zumba, even though she has two left feet. Diana loves every moment of her sobriety and looks forward to a bright future.
