Teresa’s interest in the non-profit sector started with the goal of helping people in our communities. Being a family member of a person in long-term recovery coupled with her goal of helping others led her to USARA.

Teresa graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Psychology and Human Development. She loves being part of an organization dedicated to helping those with substance use disorders and their loved ones, and is constantly looking to expand her knowledge on the function of non-profits, how to promote healthy workplace cultures, and how to be an ally for those in recovery.

In her free time, Teresa enjoys spending time in the outdoors with family, friends, and dogs!
